Introduction:
- Nothing is hidden from the eyes of the LORD.
1. A Hard Word from the Religious Against God (3:13-15).
2. Encouragement for the Righteous (3:16-18).
3. The Day of the LORD (4:1-6).
- God remembers those who love and fear him.
- When at last Christ returns, the righteous will be perfectly joyful, and the wicked
will be perfectly miserable.

Conclusion:
- God will again make a distinction between the righteous and the wicked, on the
Day when Christ returns in glory.
- God’s peace always accompanies the Gospel.
- Never be tempted to think ‘it is vain to serve God’.
- Hell is hell – so heed God’s warning!
- The obedience of faith means persevering through all of life, with love and joy
in believing.
