Introduction: 

1) The Prayer of an Afflicted Man (v1-11). 

2) The LORD who Judges and Saves (v12-22). 

3) The Hope of the Resurrection (v23-28). 

Conclusion: 

• Repent and believe the good news, Jesus is Lord of Life. 
• Prepare to die. Don’t be unprepared for eternity! 
• Prepare to live. Jesus died for you so you might live for him. 
• Expect the unexpected. Don’t be surprised when life throws up some unlooked-for burdens and challenges. 
• Expect great things from God. God’s grace is able to bring good out of evil – as Good Friday proves.
