• We want to control time, but we are really in its grip. 

• We can never tell “what time it is”. 

• What do we gain in our time? 

• Because of Christ we now know what time it is: 
  • Romans 5: 6: The right time for God to demonstrate His love for sinners in Christ. 
  • 2 Corinthians 6: 2: Now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation. 
• Big Idea: We live in the grip of time, but in Christ we know the end – so we can let go of control and live faithfully today.
